SALINE COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - Three individuals were arrested over the weekend after the Saline County Sheriff's Office said they have taken several reports of AT&T phone lines being ripped up and stolen for copper content since the first of the year.

According to Lt. Scottie Courtney, authorities received a tip Saturday and deputies later stopped a truck matching a description given. He said detectives found items linking the vehicle with the missing phone lines, and Bobby Hurst, 20, James McCool, 37, and Rachel Reynolds, 38, were taken into custody.

Lt. Courtney said the three are facing charges of attempted theft, damaging fixtures of a telephone company, criminal mischief, and using another person's property to facilitate a crime.
