BRYANT, Ark. (KTHV) -- The director of the Bryant Parks and Recreation Department was arrested for driving while intoxicated in a city vehicle early Sunday morning.

Police reports show that a Benton officer followed Brandon Griffin for a short time before pulling him over.

After a field sobriety test, Griffin was arrested for a blood alcohol level of .16, twice the legal limit of .08.

Griffin is due in court next month.
