It's kind of like "Words With Friends," but with trivia

A Fayetteville company, MobileFWD, released a game called Trivi.al in the Apple Apps Store on June 21.

Matt Hudson, one of the founders of MobileFWD, said his company has the venture capital and -- hopefully -- the concept that will make the game a success. Trivi.al, as he describes it, is a trivia game that is powered by social networking. Players can challenge Facebook friends to games or find random opponents through the online service.

So far, the game is only available on iOS devices (iPhone, iPad and iPod). Should it catch on with Apple users, however, Hudson said the company will likely expand it to other mobile platforms.
