Saline Co. traffic stop leads to possession & endangering a minor charges

SALINE COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - A simple traffic stop made by Saline County deputies on Jan. 21 led to the arrest of a Benton man.

On Thursday, January 21, a Saline County deputy pulled over Donald BALL of Benton on Interstate 30 near Sevier Street for having expired tags. A search of the vehicle revealed a significant amount of suspected crystal methamphetamine. Also located in the backseat of the vehicle was a 9-year-old child. 

BALL was arrested and charged with felony counts of possession of a controlled substance as well as endangering the welfare of a miner. He was released on a $15,000 Signature Bond and ordered to appear in court on March 1, 2016.

BALL was subsequently arrested for Violation of Probation on January 27, 2016 and released the following morning.
